Robin felt he could win and was the better and fitter player in the fifth so he is really dissapointed by his loss. Butt he made a step in his career, qualifying for the first time and winning a match in a GS for the first time and not against a low ranked player. He gained 28 points becease he reached the semi's in Wrexham last year, second week of the AO. He will be around 90 now. Wroclaw challenger is a semi atp event without top 50 sofar but maybe some will play on a wildcard

In his match against Ljubo. Haase threw his racket away after he lost serve in the second. But he played with it after that.. Then at the end of the set he saw his racket was broken, but he won the set so played on. He won the match with a racket that was broken, he could play with it offcourse but not anymore. He showed it in a tv show and it didn't looked good

Haase Upsets No. 6 seed Murray; Hewitt Falls

Robin HaaseDutch wild card Robin Haase (pictured) created a big upset at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament on Wednesday when he knocked out No. 6 seed and Marseille champion Andy Murray 7-5, 6-3.

Haase converted on his third set point in the 12th game of the first set, with a forehand return winner sealing a one set lead. The Dutchman then broke in the eighth game of the second set with a backhand return winner before closing out the match after one hour and 28 minutes on his first match point with a forehand winner.

It is World No. 94 Haase’s second victory over a Top 10 player and gives him a 2-1 career record. His previous victory came against Tomas Berdych at ATP Masters Series Montreal last year. The 20-year-old began the year with a quarterfinal in Chennai, where he defeated World No. 16 Marcos Baghdatis in the first round before losing to Marin Cilic. He backed that up at the Australian Open where he qualified into the main draw before defeating World No. 19 Ivan Ljubicic in the first round (l. to Grosjean in 2nd RD). He now improves to 4-2 for the season.

Congrats to Robin. I reaally hope he keeps this up. Consistency will definitely improve his game, and I too would like to see more of it from him.
