Apparently his wrist has flared up again and his stop practicing again so him playing in Madrid doesnt look good and apparently he is returning to the US to see another speacialist, and he could even miss RG afterall.

I think the communication of Del Potro's team is not good,

every week Del Potro gives the impression that he could return soon, but in fact this is not the case, it is frustrating for his fans

it would be a good thing if Del Potro can give a press conference to say the extent of real damage on his wrist, no one saw his face or heard his voice for months, it seems he has suddenly disapear from the surface of the tennis's planet,

i agree, there is almost no direct communication with anyone from his team, doesnt he have an official website or something?
like gonzalez has an official one and he updated it saying he'd miss tournements because of his knees and its alot easier to take bad news when its coming straight from the source.

i know its ridiculous to say this and probably makes me sound like a complete creeper, but im really worried about him, its been months since his played and it really does seem to be going from bad to worse, i know theres more to life then tennis and at the end of the day its just a game and his just a player, but his my player, his one of the ones i care about the most, one of the ones i get up at ridiculous hours in the morning to see play and one of the players im "invested" in the most, hell i cried when he won the USO and i wasnt even there!
It just frustrates me that its happened at a time like this when he was just really starting to prove himself as a real contender, and now like Elbarto said, its as if he's just fallen of the face of the earth!! It would be so much more reassuring if we could get some proper news, even if it was Davin saying "he wont play again for 3 months" sure that would make me upset but atleast its actually coming from people involved!!

Thank you, Amy, for saying so eloquently what I, too, am feeling ..... it's a sense of helplessness, especially when there's no website where we can keep up with our darling Delpo and his progress.

Wasn't he supposed to have a public relations guy? who started some kinda Delpo website? Whatever happened to that? Does anybody remember it? I think Del's got a lot more fans than even he realizes ....... He should start blogging. After all, Federer, Djokovic, Murray, Nadal all have websites ... so should delPotro!

I think this theory is credible, it can explain why we don't have a clear communication from his team and his family, maybe Del Potro needs time to recover confidence and motivation

I hope the news about the wrist surgery proves to be wrong. He's taken off such a long time already and wrist surgery would set him back even more.

I miss Del Potro on the circuit. Even though he is a huge threat to my favorite, I love what he brings to the sport. His absence leaves a big hole in the top echelon.
