I'm so very proud of both of Nico and Fer. They worked so hard during this DC tie and fought until the end.
And unlike the Israeli team, they don't have doubles specialists to take the burden off of them.
The Israelis deserve some kudos too, especially Sela. But Ram's behavior and Okun's rant against women takes away from their win. At least for me.
Especially Okun. He shouldn't just apologize to Peer - he needs to apologize to all women. Hopefully some women's group in Israel will have a few words to say to him now that DC is over. He definitely needs some type of instruction in women's studies. 
Back of our chicos though - I hope they both stop playing DC. They've done their part. Time to worry about finishing their careers with a splash on the circuit. |
