Boston Utd vs Lincoln

On Saturday, I backed Lincoln at 3.94 away against a team on an 8 match winning streak. They didnt disappoint. Who am I to stop backing them away from home now when they havent dropped a point so far this season?! Bostons home from has produced 6of their 7points thus far this season. However, Im not going to back them. They are not in the same league of quality as Lincoln and a record of 5-0-0 away from home says it all. They have won 5 of their last 6 league matches and they will continue on their stampede up the table tomorrow night (I hope!). The odds are extremely tasty. I expected closer to 1.9 especially against a team 2nd bottom and look to be getting worse (they lost to an average Rochdale side 3-0 at home on Saturday).

Lincoln win @ 2.25 - 3.8units

This is a big bet for me, Im extremely confident!

Of course BG, this is League 2. Lincoln are currently 2nd and will go top if they win tonight. Boston are 2nd bottom. Lincoln have scored 22 goals in 10games, Boston have conceded 22 goals in 10games! But it's really the away record for Lincoln that drags me in.

Sorry about that guys, no excuse. Dont really know what happened. Maybe a let down from such a great win on the weekend - especially against such a weakened Boston side.

No worries Rich - actually I didn't know this was a derby game, probably the reason for the higher than usual price on Lincoln. If it were any other game, doubt they would have been paying $2+

Solid rule IMO - I never touch derby games on the basis of the intangibles involved such as the additional motivation and passion.

Anyway keep up the good work here, numbers don't lie and your record so early in the season proves it.
