I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...

I love Coke.

Those were different times. Innocent times, when an ice cold Coke on a summer day was just perfect. Symbolic of the post war prosperity of Western civilization. Not something that people drank too much of, as is often the case today. But it was capitalism that produced Coke. And just about everything else enjoyable, for that matter.

Hard for those Socialist governments back in the fifties to advertise the pleasures of drinking impure water day after day.

However, the real point here is that abraxas has fallen prey to an Internet hoax. No real capitalist would be fooled by an institution called "The Soda Pop Board of America."

Another clue is that back then some care was taken to employ proper grammar. That ad has at least two errors.

For the record I drink 3-5 sodas a day and it is 100% because the USA government has led me to believe it has not only health benefits but emotional and spiritual ones as well.

Is this incorrect? Because I have no idea without my government telling me.

yes you are probably looking for Tennessee considering that was Gore's home state.

I can not figure out what this has to do with a fake soda ad!

Except that the ad and Big Al are both fakes, of course.
