Well, I did a lot of searching on the internet for weeks and went to my local park hoping to look for a club or tennis program to join but all of them charge a fee that is way overpriced. Really dissapointed, I amwondering, hoping to get some of your opinions: Do you think tennis is only for the rich?
Also, if anyone knows any place that gives lesson for a decent price or even just a place to play in the NYC area, please contact me about it.

And unfortunatly, since tennis is not really popular in my school, it doesnt have a club.

i feel your pain. it is very hard for me to find a regular partner. sure, my brother and i will play two or three times a month and my cousin once maybe every two months, but it is quite hard. recently, another cousin came back and we've been playing two-three times a week which has been fun but it also makes me yearn for that all year.

i suggest joining a tennis class at a community college and making friends with the people there. then, you can play tennis for sure during class and make appointments outside of it. but keep in touch with them no matter how difficult. i was on the tennis team at my hs but lost touch with most of the team.

i looked at the usta but theyre more focused on tourneys rather than the partner-matching service i thought it was.
