Thanks Lynne - we do our best, even though some people on the Andy Roddick threads wouldn't agree I really like your avatar by the way - that's a lovely photo. Where are you from?

Re: New Forum! New Thread! New Year for David!
It's about time he got his own forum, and yes that stuff my brother and I said about him being underrated is still very true, though I would like to see at least a TMS title, if his wrist doesn't give him any more problems.

This is what I said about Nalbandian and it still holds true.
Nalbandian will always be an underrated player no matter how many Slams he wins or how consistent he is over his career. A good anaolgy would be with Mats Wilander this is a guy who won 7 Slams and was still underrated and he would probably the closest to a modern version
I accept that his underrated status is going to change any time soon, then again he isn't one of the ATP poster boys, so it's not surprising.
Well in a way it's better for him that he doesn't get the credit he deserves or is overlooked for his versatility and overall game.
Nalle can use that to his advantage as motivation to prove some people wrong, that is always a good motivation. Hopefully I am wrong about him not getting recognised, but I don't see it in the near future.
Hopefully he can win a Slam or TMS very soon, for himself and to stick it to some moronic media people.

I think you're right, he's been underrated in the past and still is, but I don't think he'll be in the future, at least I hope not.
I think his wrist is not an issue anymore and he has it all to win a TMS or even a GS, he's been very close in the past, and I'm not just talking about that Wimbledon final. He just has to be confident enough and take care of himself, I'm sure he'll have a great year.

It's nice to see you over here George. Yes, I also agree that David has been under-rated in the past, but things are changing slowly this year I think. It is definately high time he got a TMS trophy under his belt though - one of the American hard-courts ones would seem most likely, although I'd personally prefer it to be Monte Carlo as I've got tickets for the whole week there

Re: New Forum! New Thread! New Year for David!
Thanks Rosie!!
I'm from Malaysia.
I would definitely like to see David win lots of TMS titles and slams and I hope he would not be underrated by people in the future!!
