Please send all unwanted rain to Australia. We need it! They don't!

I meant "they" don't need it as in London, not Sharjah, of course. Sharjah can have some too

Re: The Rain Haters thread
Beautiful rain, singing in the rain, but no tennis at Wimbledon in the rain, what a great English summer, this is one of the best Wimbledon's so far.

Yes, one of the best. Mr.Alan Mills is going to have his hands full.
Btw, the prediction for today is not encouraging as well.

Re: The Rain Haters thread
I doubt we'll get much play today. Maybe enough to allow Coria to finish, but less than an hour so the spectators can get their money back.

Re: The Rain Haters thread
I'm about 30 miles from Wimbledon, here it's a bit brighter right now, not raining, but it's windy. But don't hold your breath, there's a lot of black clouds, so it will probably be pouring in a few minutes.

Oh yes - we have lots and lots and lots of lovely rain here now - half an hour before play is due to start! And it's so windy the poor little man wouldn't be able to keep his umbrella up - mine kept blowing "inside out" on the way to work this morning!!

Re: The Rain Haters thread
Play on Day 3 has been suspended indefinitely due to persistant rain.
What happens to the schedule if there is no play today?
