Peya was playing fairly terrible. I didn't see Fischer. Rainer Eitzinger [nice guy!] was playing too, and unfortunately he lost as well. He's been quite sick recently so that's not so surprising.

I just read on Julian Knowle's wiki page that he suffered from acute hearing loss in December 2007, like a year or so ago?? Is this true?
is this the reason him and Simon couldn't keep it up in 2008??

Yes it is true that he suffered an acute hearing loss in one ear. It has been corrected and he hears okay now. IMO it did affect his tennis a lot. I was very relieved when he said he was better. Losing hearing can be frightening expecially for a tennis player who needs to hear the sound of the ball hitting his opponents strings.

This year Julian will be playing with Jurgen Melzer most of the time. He did play with Andy Ram in two tournaments and did well. Julian is really an excellent doubles players.

I think (am not sure) you have to apply for the free seats. If you go to the site I gave, I think you will find where you have to call. I hope this is a help.
If you can get it the site I used is LAOLA1.at. It has information that may be helpful to you.
