Default Re: Srichaphan loses second round match

Yes, I was at the match. Paradorn took the second set and he made a lot of great shots but I also felt his energy level was down a bit from Monday. Novak is a tough customer anyway; he has a big serve and when it's working, he can steam-roller. Both players seemed exhausted by the 4th set; in a way it was good that it ended there because a 5th set would have been gruesome.

Paradorn did have the trainer out, working on his thighs...he was also treated for the same thing on Monday, and during the Monday match he went into a full split trying to reach a ball; that cannot have felt good. He also has the wrist wrapped under his sweat band.

Paradorn looked great and played hard.
