Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
And again a challenger win! Strange that hardly anybody here is following him closely...
This week he had a lot of points to defend so he won't climb the rankings very much, but after this he has absolutely nothing to defend the coming 8 months or so, so he can only climb. Hope he keeps injury free.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Yeah, you'd think the bandwagon would form for a successful 20 year old. De Bakker even got a thread on GM. As long as he keeps up the good form, he'll get noticed eventually.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Qualified for St Pete main draw just now with three convincing wins. It's been a long time since he played an ATP-tournament, I think more than two years. Now let's hope he gets a good draw and does well.

Haha, it will happen soon enough.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Still it's strange that the last post before mine was a month ago, while this guy is doing so well. And people keep posting 1000 posts a day in other player forums...

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
With the help of the almighty RET, the Ukrainian sensation has advanced to the second round of St. Pete! Zeballos next...

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
I don't see him in any entry lists for the coming challengers. Anyone knows if his season is over?

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Olex qualified for Brisbane, so a good start to the season for him. He'll need to get Tomic or Serra to have a decent shot at winning. All the best.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
He's having Tomic, I guess he is the favourite against him. Then against Stepanek will be exit, but good for experience. And I'd sign for the 32 points if he wins against Tomic.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
He wins 6-4 6-4. Tomic should get some Challenger experience. The constant wildcards can only hurt him, even if he is in Australia. Oh well. Stepanek should be the end of the road, but anything can happen.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Dolgo lost to Berrer 3-6, 2-6, but a semi result is good points for him. He is playing vs. Alves in the first round in Johannesburg, which he should win.
I think Dolgo could and probably should be in the top 80 range by the summer. I see no way he wont make the MD of the French.

Re: Alex Dolgopolov Jr.
Me too. Hope he stays healthy, then he'll be a threat in the challengers on clay.
SF this week was good, Berrer is just a tough draw against a good top 75-player.
