75=Paris
92=Hauts-de-Seine (next to Paris)
they're so small they're not on the map

Trying to work out the ranking/points systems seems to be beyond me, but am I right in thinking that Marat will need to get to at least the quarter finals at Bercy to get seeded at the AO???

well even if he doesn't, there's still hope...he'll be on the bubble; if a few players in the top 32 withdraw, which they invariably do at the AO each year, he can still grab a seed. that's irrelevant of course b/c he's gonna win this thing.

He could still play a tournament like Doha in January, couldn't he? Anyway, as Marie pointed out, there are always withdrawals.
ETA: Plus I'm not sure he necessarily needs to make the qfs; it depends on how the people around him do.
