I think we need an entry ranking of at least 35, assuming a couple withdrawals. If he'd won today he'd be almost there, but never fear! He has three more tournaments this year and then the beginning of January with nothing to defend.

I think she meant what results, ie QF in madrid, or whatever.

Yeah, but someone else can do that. I'm lazy, and there are four tournaments to factor in, and the latest race points--which is what I want to look up to gauge the end of the year--aren't even up on the ATP site yet. Plus we discovered this week that the ATP site doesn't necessarily have up-to-date point awards for various tournaments, so to the ATP site.

Let me put it this way: I think it's doable. I wish he had won this week, but I'm cautiously optimistic that it's doable.

i see. yeah I'm too lazy as well . i think it's doable; 14 places in 4 tournaments that he doesn't have anything to defend in. shoudln't be too bad...

Marat now tied with Kiefer at 43 in the Race. Onward and upward! Pikes Peak or bust!

Check. Judio has him at 36, although Henman can still pass him by beating Nalbandian.
