Mathieu is supposed to play the Challenger in Busan next week first (in Korea). He hasn't withdrawn yet.
But he should be back in France pretty soon anyway for the next matches of the French Championships...
A team event with the other Frenchies might be nice for him right now, he must feel a little depressed. And it looks like it's on clay!

I think he plays Busan first, find something else, Adam (my guess is that Chiudi played extremely poorly in that match.)
The French Championships are like the Bundesliga, they play every week, you can miss one match and play the next one. He'll probably play next week (unless he makes it to the final rounds in Busan, of course - allez Mathieu  ).

Ummm, I'll be seriously shocked if it happens, he plays Hyung-Taik Lee in the first round:

Thanks for the information, I didn't know that, there are no news on the French blog.
Mathieu doesn't lose heart and keeps collecting miles. 
He'll be OK, he had his usual 6 first round losses in a row, now he should start winning again. He has to. |
