Gaston lost 6-1 6-4 to Moya.
A combo of lack of confidence and his first match on hardcourts in addition he had a ratio of 9-42 that is winners to unforced errors and that is not going to help anyone win a match. His backhand was poor today as well, sure it was windy, but it's the same for both players.

This one will be a tough one for Gaston, then again Seppi hasn't been in great form either and Gaston does have a poor record in New York, so anything can happen at this event.
