He was one break down at the beginning of the second set so for great fight.

He next plays Benneteau. Has anyone got a good feeling about this one too?

For the fifth time he has been someone in the top 10 in Boredo, though in my eyes he is only top 10 as in a number.

This will be tough for him against Benneteau, as he is expected to win and he has faltered before, but hope he can get over the "Chicken Man" and make the QFs like he should.

Pretty much agree - he never seems to do well when he's the clear favourite & expected to win

He is 1-0 with Benneteau and it was 6-4 in the 3rd in Auckland, so it will be far from easy, just hope he can start well this time.

The only good thing about Chucho playing Benneteau is that it gives me a chance to see the match.

It's the first match on grandstand.

Sorry, this is not my intention. But this is probably my only chance to see Chucho on tv, if he plays a Frenchy.

Chucho won 6-4 7-6 (4)!!!

Now he will face either Gonzalez or Ljubicic who are right now in the third set.

Yes, good match, from both. But obviously Julien was a bit exhausted after his fight against Hrbaty. Chucho did the right thing, putting great pressure on him when needed. Onto the next one now.
