The Australian Open 2011 has not really started yet for the World No. 1 Rafael Nadal, as he did not face a bit of a competition in his opening match to showcase his typical raw talent and energy.

Well, against Nadal, this was my first chance to ever see Ryan play, and I have to say, for someone soo tall, his serve is a serious liability!! His 1st serve speed was around 95 mph, nothing like starting a point being defensive. Seems like he has good areas to his game, and with his height, he really should work work work that serve, make it stronger!! I am suprised he is near the top 100 right now, but just think if he could get some free points off the serve, sooo much better for him & his game.
GL with 2011 Ryan, hope to see some improvements!
