Fire Diego and hire Adam, Guille. I'm not too sure for the serve, but that's Higueras' job - at least Adam would make you laugh, since Diego apparently isn't exactly a "live wire". I'm all for it!

That reminds me of Dementieva, she said in a recent interview for the French Tennis Magazine that people from all over the world really send her home-made videos to show her how to serve.

that is so cute, i'm glad she has a sense of humor about it. it would be great for her to splice them together as a kind of 'fan art' into one service documentary. Some of that footage must be (accidentally) hilarious.

Re: The 'Adam is going to teach Guille how to serve' thread
Just a thought, since I noticed it in the pix thread that hes still doing this at the end of his serve...
has anyone noticed this thing of the last year where coria stops his service motion rather severely at the end of his follow through, so that there is NO follow-through?? Now I am not a pro coach, ...nor a doctor ... but I have taught tennis and know proper stroke production very well.
Obviously someone tried to "adapt" a variant off the service motion to help keep pressure off part of his motion that may be causing him recurring difficulty, but I have to say...the abrupt "stop" at the end of the motion HAS to put more pressure on him to "do it just right" and its also hard to believe from a musculature point of view that it can really help to have such a severe stopping point, when the purpose of the follow through is to lean into the court and therefore also hit a heavier ball.
Anyone notice this? It looks really unballetic, for such a graceful player, in addition to all my other complaints about it. Whatever the purpose for the 'adjustment' I am sure there is another way to deal with it. Gaby Sabatini started doig the same thing on HER serve, and it was disasterous.

Re: The 'Adam is going to teach Guille how to serve' thread
........nope. But now that you mention it, your observation is correct.
Truc posted 2 articles in the news thread where in one, Gumy says Guille's serve has improved, then in another article he says that Guille is still having trouble with the serve! Apparently he's still trying to get him to hit the ball harder (and I'm sure Guille wants to do that), and so far that's been the big holdup. I hope in their efforts to "improve" the serve, they remember that it should also be tricky and unreadable. For instance Roddick; big serve, favorite is down the middle. But If he's not really trying to go for the ace, his serve is pretty predictable.

Re: The 'Adam is going to teach Guille how to serve' thread
Adam, if you still have the serve videos, can you reupload them? I want to see your serve.
