He's 1-3 in five-set matches this year

I hope these losses don't start to take a toll on him. He needs to improve on his fitness and mental game.

Yes Richie as we say in the U.S. just didn't have enough gas in the tank. But you can tell he has a lot of talent and that the crowd really liked him.
He just needs more fitness right now. It was a good Tournament for him and he is just going to get better and better

Hopefully he doesn't turn out like Safin, a guy with lots of talent but poor results due to weak mentality.

Mental?!!!

He was very strong today mentally!
How can he make such a wonderful shot during a MP against him?
He still believed in him at the end, despite the cramps.
And he fought until the end.

Yes, he needs to improve his fitness but don't forget that because of this f*cking rain, he played almost 3 hours Sunday, and he played also today (I mean Monday)! I feared he'd have cramps because of this and he did, unfortunately.

Hi everyone>> I am Coria's fan but since he has retired earlier in the first round so yeah you can imagine how hard that is for all his fans...because of mental problems plus physical as well

But today's match was incredible!!! Gasquet was great!!! He is the winner to me,despite the scoreboard of course!!

I hope he will become better and better next year!! I believe he can...He fight back evrything he could have done to save the match point..It was great

Richard always has cramps in those kind of matches. But for once he kept fighting. (Finaly!

) The guy is a damned slow learner. Maybe after something like 10 other 5-setters of this kind he'll have learned how not to cramp or better to prevent getting to his "cramp zone" by giving it all since the first point...

Expected loss though. Good run Richard!
