I wonder if Andy is feeling any pressure to be healthy for DC next week because of the SFX connection lol. Maybe not a big thing but perhaps that's on the back of his mind, even if he does feel ok.

You really don't like Ken do ya Deb? Ken's just still swallowing the bitter taste of wrong after the Jimbo coach thing.
I doubt Andy's a yes man but I can totally see Ken stepping on Andy's feet below the dinner table to remind him where his loyalty's at.

i love the fact Ken is called smarmy without actually been known by anyone. ( i don't actually know if any of you have met the man) but smarmy was the first worf that came to mind when i first clapped eyes on him, he just looks sleazy lol
^^ WAyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off topic...
Anywho i won't be repeating my late night antics again tonight i'll just be checking scores in the morning, i'm for work tomorrow so i can't afford to lose any more sleep, as exciting as watching numbers tick by are.
On another off topic note...my first VBet actually came through

He just reeks of that smarmy agent type. I'm sure he's great to his clients and all but ew, just ew. it's even worse in person. he just oozes smarm LOL.
That said, if Andy wants to play tonight, I think he will. If he really doesn't want to play DC for whatever reason, injury or not, I think he'll pull. But Ken still freaks me out really badly

Sometimes, you just know that someone is like that by the way they look and act.
Well, guess it's good that he's playing it safe. Wednesday start in DC gives him close to a week.

This is the article from AR.com

Andy Withdraws from Countrywide Classic
July 28th, 2006 05:56 pm
By Andyroddick.com Staff
After consulting with his Athletic trainer, Doug Spreen, and both Jimmy Connors and John Roddick, Andy has withdrawn from the Countrywide Classic due to a left side muscle strain incurred in his second round match Thursday evening.
While reaching for a shot, Andy strained the muscle late in the third set. He was barely able to finish the match, but fought through the pain to advance to the quarterfinals over Scott Oudsema 6-7(3), 6-3, 6-2. After receiving on court treatment from the ATP Trainer and post match treatment from Doug Spreen, the decision was made this afternoon to avoid further injury and withdraw from tonight’s quarterfinal match.
“During the next couple of days we will focus on treatment to reduce the pain and inflammation,” Athletic Trainer Doug Spreen told ar.com. “Overall, we just want to make Andy as comfortable as possible and we will evaluate the strain on a daily basis.”
In his post match press conference Thursday evening, Andy said he planned for “lots of ice,” and would discuss the situation with Jimmy, John and Doug but ultimately “It will be my decision,” he concluded. With the US Open less than one month away, Andy stressed his decision would be heavily influenced by the potential to further aggravate the injury. “If there’s a chance that I’d risk doing serious damage, I’d pull out. I have to look at the big picture.”
Following a successful run at the RCA championships in Indianapolis, and having already reached the quarterfinals of this week’s Countrywide Classic, Andy was very candid about the frustrations of having to withdraw. “It’s really disappointing.”
Andy has been given a Wednesday start at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington D.C, allowing for five full days of treatment before his next match.
