Fernando Verdasco está ahora mismo sin entrenador, una vez decidió no continuar dentro del grupo que dirigen Jordi Vilaró y Francis Roig, y en el que siguen Feliciano López, con el que ya no hace doble, o Albert Costa. A finales de la pasada temporada rompió con Nacho Truyol, y decidió alternar su residencia entre Madrid y Barcelona. Competirá sin técnico fijo y con las molestias de unas anginas que arrastra desde el torneo de Valencia

Fernando Verdasco has no coach right now. He decided not to continue in the group led by Jordi Vilaró and Francis Roig, and in which Feliciano López (with whom he doesn't play doubles anymore) and Albert Costa still are. at the end of last season, he stopped working with Nacho Truyol, and decided to alternate his residences between Madrid and Barcelona. He will compete without a fixed coach and with tonsilitis problems that he's been struggling with since the Valencia tournament

Hey Jenrios - I almost had heart problems myself when I read the initial post. But...thank good...after I practically cried on my Nico board about it...lol!...we got it straightened out..."anginas" in spanish does not mean "angina" in English (which is a heart problem) - means tonsillitis. Something like angina en peche (can't remember I"m guessing here) means angina the way we mean angina in English.

I was just so relieved when I read that...must be something going around because Fena has the same thing.

lol...well there u go that's what i get for being slack and not checking a dictionary trying to do a quick translation :retard: sorry haha...it can mean angina but yes in this case i think it's more likely to be a sore throat/tonsilitis! (or maybe like a chest infection?)...i heard he'd had the flu in monaco too...hope he's better now...he plays ferrer today

yeah lol well i know there are a lot of "false friends" in foreign languages...words that look like english words but have different meanings...i just couldn't be bothered to go to my dictionary i will do so next time

hi Iza - that's a mystery that's difficult to solve, I'm afraid. Like I said, in Miami someone told me Nadal had poached Lopez - but then they played with different partners after that. It's very puzzling to me as Fer and Lopez are such good friends and have had success.

What a great week! Saw all my guys! so happy...... Lots to tell, will do tomorrow

OOh sounds nasty this!! I talked to him next to "Fernando's Tree" (will explain later! ) and he sounded fine, looked great and was a very happy chappy, eventhough he was coughing a bit. He met up with a (girlie)friend and I tried to listen what they were on about. My Spanish isn't that good, although I must say if I can understand anyone it would be Fer! I heard about a 5-year contract... Who he'll play doubles with till wimbledon. I heard a few names..... like: Ferrero, Lopez and he said something like: that's the truth.... I got the feeling he was talking about Rafa...but, I'm not sure, so forget I said that! He was so cheerful and happy! And alone.... Also got a newpaper article which I will write here tomorrow..I'm a little tired!! It's about Pepo Clavet...so, will that be the new coach??? It was the Thursday paper...

Okay, talk soon!! I took 9 films of pics.... I know, I'm crazy!! 7 with 36 pics and 2 with 24 pics. They'll be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday!!
