Andrew Castle on Tipsarevic-Roddick match:

"Tipsarevic is not ordinArily known as a big server."*

"The Serbian has no real big weapons from the baseline."**

(*Tipsarevic has hit more aces per match this year than Ancic, Federer, and Djokovic)
(**Mono or no mono, even Federer conceded that he was out-rallied in his five set encounter with Tipsy at the AO)

Carillo during the Venus match today:

"Only two people can take this match away from Venus: that's Venus herself and her opponent Anne Keothavong."

As opposed to someone else taking the court in either player's place.

Hahahaha! That brilliant.

I'd say he'd be mighty lucky to be included!

Stolle - it's got nothing to do with math, im just reading what's written here.

i miss that funny sh!t from the old fellas... they are capable of pulling some stuff from the top shelf alright...

Brad Gilbert: "Nadal is probably doing kangaroo jumps right now. He's going to come out fully lathered."

I'm going to take a moment from the bashing of commentators to call out Cliff Drysdale. He is fantastic, I wish we got more of him on ESPN like in the old days before Gilbert and Fowler started calling matches.

Gilbert and Fowler during Simon-Gasquet, after Gilbert pronounced Simon as "Psy-muhn", the American way:

Fowler- "You didn't take French in school, did you?"
Gilbert- "Nope, I didn't. When I see S-I-M-O-N, its Simon! Simon says!" :retard:

It was horrible. Truly horrible.

And even after Fowler was like "Um..no.", Gilbert just sort of shrugged it off and continued doing it through the rest of the tie-break.

Brad Gilbert does Camus - a series of audiobooks on mp3.

First up - L'etranger.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?
