One that John Newcombe said about Ferrero (thanks to Volandri Fan for reminding me of this one, but I was mad when I heard him say it, his head is stuck up too far up Hewitt's arse to know what else is going on around him)

nobody treats JC like that and gets away with it. I'm starting a crusade against Newcombe. And it's not just because of this comment, it's because of years of torture listening to his commentating.

I was listening to Radio Wimbledon during the Nadal-Berdych match. One of the announcers--I don't know his name--was describing Nadal in between points:
"Nadal is now tucking his hair behind his ears. It must be nice to have hair that can grow that long. Other parts of the body grow as you get older, but never the ones you want."

Some gems from Donald Dell/ Barry Mackay yesterday:
-Norman is one of the tallest players on tour along with the Czech Ivo Karlovic
-Karlovic has done very well the last few years at Wimbledon (If losing in the first round three years in a row is very well )
There were a bunch more that I can't think of at the moment.
-The two youngsters, Santoro (34 yrs. old) and Mahut, will contest for the final.
They also called Dick Norman (36 yrs. old) a youngster.
EDIT: Another one - "Santoro has won four or five titles but never a major on the ATP tour so this a huge occasion for him."
