Goodall on Eurosport. He's been very boring. Still can't understand the hype.

Btw where the hell are Reed, Bradnam and McMillan? Haven't heard them on Eurosport at all. Bradnam's absence is obviously very encouraging.

Gold by Wilander again.

Ferrer is the most agressive player on tour.

Brilliant.

Cilic choked hard on that match. To think he could've prevented what was to happen in the next days....

After Stepanek beat Gasquet. He blows a kiss to the camera.

Goodall : That kiss was for you.
Koenig : All flustered, I hope not. Please save it for Nicole.

After a lot of delaying where Federer wanted to stop as he was in a difficult position and gets away with it.

Koenig comes out with the call "Someone call 911 both men have escaped" after a very long point.

How often does Jason Goodall say "inch perfect"?

This isn't really commentary, but it's too good to let go to waste. Maybe a seperate thread should be started.

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...-1-Battle.aspx

from the facebook comments "In Australia he will not defend any points because he won the title in 2011 and those points were defended in 2012, now he will only gain points on 2013!!!"

During a Tennis Channel broadcast of the 2003 U.S. Open final between Andy Roddick and Juan Carlos Ferrero, one of the commentators said, "Andy Roddick should cram it down his (Juan Carlos') throat." Disgusting!

"Inch perfect" is another one of those overused, annoying phrases used by commentators. Others include: initially, outrageous, unreal, and jaw dropping.
