It's just a part of the game at that level. It's not a big deal. There are always very subtle gamesmanship things going on out there in matches. At that level, these guys feel the slightest edge may give them some sort of advantage. Sometimes they are obvious, sometimes they are very small things that virtually nobody notices. When one of the more obvious things occurs, some people don't like it.

Sam Smith during the Del Potro match: "Tsonga's like a restaurant on the verge of bankruptcy; he's getting just enough customers to keep afloat but he won't hang on much longer."

What kind of crap commentary is this at Fox Sports 3 ? They say "unfortunately Murray couldn't make the shot" oh wait. Aren't you supposed to be neutral?

Wally Masur, when seeing Didier Tsonga, he said there is Didier Drogba. Oh! did I just say Drogba.

When Roddick was mouthing to Monfils about being cocky. Raoux and Woodforde said, well Monfils could say the same thing about him.

I don't think he was talking about the actual point itself. He was referring to the point that Federer was trying to make to the umpire.

My point is that it should be "moot point" not "mute point."

...unless he meant it was a really quiet point?

I didn't even catch that. I think I heard him say mute too. He says it all the time.

Eagle and Masur during the Seppi/Blake match.

Seppi : He is a very calm character and not as emotional as the other Italian players.

Eagle: Yes, he is from the north a bit more class.
Masur : From Tuscany, though he is from South Tyrol and they aren't that close.

Some more rippers from Newc and senile Stolle:

"there have been a lot of upsets on court 2 over the years, due to the noise on the court"

"This is a very tough draw for Federer" (Lu then GGL then Kohly then Soderz. )

followed by:

"It gets tougher as you go through" :retard:

"It's unusual to see Federer as #2" (where have you been for the past 12 months? )

"Lu has won 10 titles, mostly at challenger level"

"Federer has only lost once here (at wimbledon)"

Thanks for those Jimbo, I am watching Fox and the streams, but did Newk say "Cmon mate" in the Hewitt match?

Masur about Gabashvili. I admire the guy, but he is one of the least talented guys in the top 100.
