Since it is official that our David is playing Wimbledon, let's have a go at it over here....

Peggy, sorry....I know you're the good luck charm over here, but for our peace of mind-and fan privacy-gotta start a new one. The admins are a little too slow at discharging the vermin from our premises.

It would be amazing if he could finally do it at Wimbledon this year - with virtually no grass court practice before the tournament and the chronic injury still on his mind.

From what I read elsewhere he must still be concerned about his injury because he was serving from half-court while practicing at this weekend's Boodles exhibition. Even if he has technically recovered, that type of injury stays in the back of your mind while playing. He'll have to win a few matches with no pain before he has the confidence to play/serve at full force. Even his first round opponent is tough on grass and will require David to be 100%. Don't want to be a bummer but I'd be surpirsed if David is mentally and physically ready for this one. Hope I'm wrong !!! He is always full of surprises so who knows.

Vamos David!!!! We'll be cheering for you
