It would be amazing if he could finally do it at Wimbledon this year - with virtually no grass court practice before the tournament and the chronic injury still on his mind.
From what I read elsewhere he must still be concerned about his injury because he was serving from half-court while practicing at this weekend's Boodles exhibition. Even if he has technically recovered, that type of injury stays in the back of your mind while playing. He'll have to win a few matches with no pain before he has the confidence to play/serve at full force. Even his first round opponent is tough on grass and will require David to be 100%. Don't want to be a bummer but I'd be surpirsed if David is mentally and physically ready for this one. Hope I'm wrong !!! He is always full of surprises so who knows.
