Queen's: Roddick blows Gonzo away 6-4, 6-3
Gonzo kept pace for the first 8 games, but then he missed some 1st serves and it was lights out. When Roddick gets in that type of serving rhythm, the only player that can beat his is Federer who somehow finds a way to get 1st serves back and distrupt Roddick's mojo.
Roddick served at almost 80%, Gonzo could barely win a point on Roddick's serve, and struggled on his own second serve.
Vintage power tennis from Roddick. This is like a replay of dozens of matches from the past on grass for him.
Now it's his whipping boy Blake who is creeping up on the #1 American spot.

I'd like to see James finally get a win over Andy, but the way Andy was playing today, it's hard to see James winning.
It's only the 2nd semifinal for Andy of the year!

Andy  at least someone in top 5 is happy with the green stuff. He was on fire with his serve, more impressive than watchable, grass tennis in a nutshell.

I was very impressed with Andy today, it was a good win and hopefully he'll take a lot of confidence from it!  Shame Gonzalez couldn't play his best though. The semi tomorrow should be a good match.
