My colleague's on vacation, which basically means I have to take care of (almost) everything. But, only 4 days of working left before my own holidays!

And then it's off to Madrid we go!

I am enjoying the weekend, before I have to go to Bielefeld for the first time next week!

Naddel, I am so sorry you have so much stress at work and you already had to say good-bye to your colleague (didn´t know she was leaving that quick...)

I really cross my fingers for you that everything will get a bit more quiet and you have some time to teach your new colleague stuff

Well, my last day in Hamburg with my colleagues was honestly better than expected. Of course we were all crying a little bit, but I had expected it much worse...We had a nice breakfast with all the colleagues as a good-bye breakfast, which was sad, but also nice

I think what makes it a little easier for me is the fact that I will work together with Britta (my beloved colleague) also in Bielefeld and that we will have lots of time there to do fun things during the evenings there

We have already decided that we want to go and watch "Wall-E" next week

Gaby, I hope your next week will be a little bit less sterssful as well, and then, at the end of the week.....Madrid time

Kiwi, Chrissie, Di, Mary and Deanna, hope you are doing fine as well

Currently, I have to attend a one week long course on two topics, First Aid (the other day, I got a realistic looking wound on my arm, lots of artificial blood and all. Gotta love some special effects! Pity that there aren't any photos of it, it looked really

), and Violence in Media. The man who was holding the Media course was of course happy to have someone in the audience who has a media background, and he asked me to give him my email address - because he sort of offered a job and/or an internship if I wanted to. Now this is something I can't say no to and I gladly took up the offer. Yay.

He said he'd contact me whenever he had something that could be of interest for me, and if I was unemployed again, I could work for him.

Also, I think I am considered a tad weird in the group now because I sometimes watch horror movies and didn't get scared while watching The Exorcist some years ago. I do understand that back in the day, when that movie came out, it was shocking and all for the audience, but to me, it didn't have that much horror effects. But when I watched The Shining - the first one, directed by Stanley Kubrick -, I almost crapped my pants. I am more into subliminal horror than into zombie flicks, for example.
And I explained one of the guys in the course what a splatter movie is.

Woops. I just hope they won't think of me as a total freak now?

That said ... going to see The Dark Knight again this weekend.

That makes five then.

Yesterday I got my Australian Open tickets, first 8 days and I can go to all courts but Rod Laver. I've also got Kooyong tickets, and now I'm wishing away the rest of the year

Meh, I got a major adrenaline rush this morning. I was driving somewhere when all of a sudden, a deer crossed the road.

Fortunately, nothing happened, but it was for sure a scary moment.
