"Murray no es favorito"

Lo dijo sin vueltas el serbio Novak Djokovic, quien se consideró, junto con Rafael Nadal y Roger Federer, más candidato que el británico. "¿Qué ránking tiene él y qué ránking tengo yo?", se preguntó

Tras ganar al francés Jeremy Chardy por 7-5, 6-1, 6-3 en la segunda ronda del Abierto de tenis de Australia, el serbio Novak Djokovic se negó a considerar al escocés Andy Murray como gran favorito, asegurando que están antes Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer y él mismo.

Cuando le preguntaron qué le parecía que Murray se haya convertido en el tercer hombre después de Nadal y Federer, el vigente campeón replicó: "¿Cómo que Andy? ¿Qué ránking tiene él y qué ránking tengo yo?".

Djokovic es el tercer mejor jugador del mundo y Murray el cuarto, según el ranking de la ATP que encabeza el español Rafael Nadal, seguido por el suizo Roger Federer.

"No pueden considerar a Andy como el favorito junto a Nadal, a Federer y a mí mismo. Me gusta como jugador y como persona, tiene mucho talento y se puede esperar que gane torneos de Grand Slam en el futuro. ¡­Pero no pueden hacer eso!", exclamó.

El orgulloso serbio, en cualquier caso, dice estar muy satisfecho con su estado de forma actual, después de comenzar la temporada con sendas derrotas ante el letón Ernests Gulbis en Brisbane y ante el finlandés Jarkko Nieminen en Sydney.

"Estoy jugando cada vez mejor y eso es muy alentador. Respecto a la primera ronda, hoy he sido claramente mejor, sobre todo en los dos últimos sets", destacó.

bue...mas clarito imposible. ya djokovic y federer demostraron su soberbia al no aceptar a murray como favorito. el unico que reconoce a murray como buen tenista es nadal.

el año pasado despues de ganar el ausopen dijo que federer estaba acabado y que él iba a ser el numero 1. quien es el numero 1 ahora?

el ranking no dice quien es favorito, el ranking son solo numeros.

los partidos hay que jugarlos, pero como empezo este año, el mejor preparado es murray, djokovic perdio facilmente estos dos torneos que jugo.

ademas en los GS, es importante los draw y las orden de juego. sino miren la falsedad del usopen.

me acuerdo cuando djokovic dijo que él y murray son grandes amigos. para amigos asi quien quiere enemigos....parece tan falso amigo como delpotro
