MTF 10 rules about choking
I think this will be a useful guide to newcomers.
1- If my favourite player loses, he's choking. No way can he lose playing his normal level.
2- If a player plays 2 consecutive bad points after having played well, he's choking.
3- If a player loses a match after having match points, he choked. The opponent's level of play on match points is irrelevant.
4- If a player loses more than one tie break in a match, he's a choker. Infact if he loses any tie break at all, he's probably a choker and a mug.
5- If a player is broken back he choked. However if he doesn't manage a single break point in the entire match and wins in tie breaks he's a mental giant.
6- If Troicki is playing, he's choking.
7- If a top player loses against a lower ranked player, he choked.
8- Getting aced on break points= choking.
9- Losing a match while having won a set instantly labels you as a choker.
10- Players don't outthink, outplay their opponents, they outchoke or outmug them.
Anyone wants to continue the list?

Much in the vein of #6 - if Cilic is playing, he's choking.

Re: MTF 10 rules about choking
Any error you make = you choke.
Missed first serve = choke

N/Adull simply doesn't choke. If he does, it means he's injured.

well obviously not if you lose 60 61. In this case it's your opponent who choked a game.

oh yes I forgot about tanking.
I think we could make a mathematic law.
If a top or favourite of yours player lost, then the probabilty of him choking = 1 - probability of him tanking.

Re: MTF 10 rules about choking
A player could also be unlucky (aka Sapoed principle or The 5% rule) - player loses because he was unlucky/his opponent was too lucky.

Chuck Norris can win a match despite choking or tanking.

Re: MTF 10 rules about choking
Player A never beats Player B. Instead it is Player B bending over for Player A.

Re: Laws of MTF
Orange Wombat's Rule: Carlos Berlocq is a legend. If you don't think this, you are a mug. When Warlocq loses a match, he is being generous and doing the opponent a favor. When he wins a match, he is a hero (which he is anyway).
Cannot believe this was not on the list

Unless he is facing the Warlocq. In that case Charly decides if he lets Chuck Norris choke or tank and if he is being generous he can let him have the match anyway.
