Ok, our Gaston is back on the tour next week in Miami. We all know what he's been through and we all wish him the best for this 2008 season.

Main singles draw available here:

http://itgtennis.com/index.php?optio...d=35&Itemid=69

Gaston plays Nishikori for the 1st round.

Kei Nishikori is a tricky opponent. I remember him from the tournament in Indianapolis last July where he reached the quarters and fell to Tursunov. He made noise then as the next big thing but soon overshadowed by the "Isner phenomenon".

Good luck, Gaston Gaudio.

In an interview given to DPA news agency in Miami he says that he´s still recovering from his ankle injury and that it still hurts a bit. But that he´s been training hard and giving his all in each training session.

I hope he has waited long enough for the ankle to recover but I guess the doctors and his team will know what they are doing

Well, Gaston's saying on his return back to the courts and promising that he will fight with all his strength for many wins sounds pleasant.

But, for me at least, what I wish more for Gaston is to stay healthy and happy.

Thanks, Vale, for the Gaston's recent interview.

Nishikori defeated Gaston 6-0 6-3. It was the 1st match after a long break. His ankle is maybe still bothering him a bit. Let's see what happens in the next event he's taking part to.

That's fine, Gaston has never been amazing at making comebacks, so we need to wait for him to find his rhythm.

Has to find his rhythm again and get match practice. Better, with the ankle in mind, not rush that too much
