Re: We want a new title: Vamos Nico and Chile in Dusseldorf
Thanks for the thread Fergie, I'm not very thrilled about Dusseldorf but I've to see the possitive side on this, Nico loves to play for his country and some wins will get his confidence back so
BUENA SUERTE NICOOO!!!! VAMOS CHILE!!!!!!!

It's the only thing that I care ... Nico needs some wins but also needs to keep his energy for Roland Garros
Vamos!

Yes, if they're going to play, then I want to see them win!!! They just love to play for their country too much to pass up the chance I guess. one of the reasons I love them so just have to support them even if I think preparing for RG would be better for them as single players.
Good Luck Chile!!!!

Re: We want a new title: Vamos Nico and Chile in Dusseldorf
I like the WTC but the moment is unhappy in front of RG.
So we must see if Nico have enough energy to handle this situation.
Vamos Chile...hope of a match against Germany!

I wasn't excited either, but Nico and Fernando do love playing for Chile, we also support Nico wherever he goes, and hopefully it will give him much confidence right now.
VAMOS CHILENOS!!!!!

Groups 2006
Blue
USA (Roddick, Blake, Ginepri, M. & B. Bryan)
Chile (Gonzalez, Massu, Capdeville, Garcia)
Croatia (Ljubicic, Ancic, Karlovic)
Spain (Ferrer, Verdasco, F. Lopez)
Red
Argentina (Nalbandian, Gaudio, Acasuso)
Czech Republic (Stepanek, Berdych, Vik)
Germany (Kiefer, Haas, Kohlschreiber, Waske, Kohlmann)
Italy (Volandri, Sanguinetti, Fognini)
Nico plays against Blake, Ancic and Verdasco usually. Chile vs. USA at first on monday I think...tough Draw altogether for them!

I like our group.
Many fun matches here and there, this might turn out to be more fun than the Hamburg Masters.

Thanks for posting the groups Tommy ... oh well, we're in the toughest group so this will be "interesting" ..... damn! I can't try to stay quiet and calmn but I know that I'll lose my mind again!!!!
Vamoooos Chilenooos!!!!! We got the oportunity to have some revenge here!!! (although I'm a little concern for the fact that Blake and Roddick have improved a lot on clay)
Anyway, we'll see

At first I was bummed, but the more I think about it, I agree. I think they would love the title back, but I think they have other goals. Fernando is tired, but I think if he takes out some of the big boys here, it will give him a lot of confidence for RG. Nico desperately needs to get his confidence back before RG.
Although to be honest, I would rather see Fernando rest a bit and go to RG early, and I'd rather see Nico in Austria getting much needed points to get seeded for Wimbledon, but this is what they chose to do, so they should make the most out of it while they are there.
And of course, it would be nice to get a little revenge along the way against the Americans. But I'm more interested in seeing how Nico stacks up against Ancic and Verdasco (I think Espana will be the toughest of all the teams though if they get to the finals Argentina will be extraordinarily tough - and I'll be shocked if it isn't Argentina that gets to the finals from that group). Ditto Fer against Ivan and David .
