As of 5/08/06 the ATP Site shows Guille is now out of the Top Ten. He is ranked #13 which is down 4 positions

Ah, lucky number 13. He has to win it now!

A little question : did he already lose the points from Rome he earned last year? I thought they lost the points after the event, but then how could he have lost about 400 points?

Don't worry.
It is that because he has already lost the points from Rome.
Some of this year's tournaments are a week later than they used to be.

do you all think he is top 20 right now? or at anytime this year? right now, he is a top 50 player.

there are a lot of players lower than that. aside from getting potential first round byes from a high ranking, it is just a number and ultimately, an illusion.

the real question is, where is he ranked within your heart.

Now if we could just get the ATP Site to have a heart we might do alright. But the ATP Site for 05/15/06 confirms what has already been said Guille is ranked #21 which is down 8 positions

I just hope he hasn't given up because it still bothers me what he said in that one interview that he "didn't fight". Come on Guille get back to fighting please

Sorry I missed listing Guille's ranking as of 5/22/06, however, since the ATP Site for 5/29/06 shows Guille's ranking as #22 which is unchanged.
His ranking of 5/22/06 must have also been #22 which was down one position

I love the quote and really for no more than Guille has played his ranking isn't all that bad. As of 6/12/06 the ATP Site shows Guille is ranked #24 which is down 2 positions
