The Gaston, Chucho, Nalle and Prieto Show in Düsseldorf Thread
The subject title refers to Gaston's little hissy fit last year when he played Ferrer.
He doesn't normally do well in Rome for some reason, but hope he can do alright at this tournament.

Re: Don't Be Put off By the Lights on the Scoreboard Roma Thread
Gaston hit with Haas today. I can't say he was hitting very well. Then it looks like he participated some kind of event in the football stadium which is right next to the tennis place. And I guess he practiced again though I haven't seen it.
I hope to see a lot of Gaston here in Rome....

06/05/2006 20:21 - SHOW ALL'OLIMPICO CON FEDERER E NADAL, ARBITRA TOTTI
Arbitro d’eccezione Francesco Totti.
It says that Roger and Nadal played a doubles match against Gaston and Ljubicic this afternoon before the football Serie A match Roma-Treviso took place in the Stadio Olimpico. The referee was Francesco Totti, As Roma superstar. Hope Gaston had some fun

If I'm really good, maybe we'll get Gaston's match on tomorrow 3.30-5pm EST...

Good luck with it RF. We will get Henman instead, that's what they have announced. Small consolation, given I'll be at work, so not able to watch anything.

Re: Don't Be Put off By the Lights on the Scoreboard Roma Thread
Gaston lost 63 46 46 against Xavier. Sad, but as we all know he never played well in Rome. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Hamburg, he reached the SF in 2003 and lost that infamous match against a certrain countryman... who knows what would have happened otherwise, maybe he would have a TMS under his belt...anyways, I'm sure he will go further than 3rd round in Hamburg...
