Thanks and frankly I think moving on would be the best thing for us, Roger included

I also liked your great post in the MC thread, but you being one of the most perceptive and sensible poosters on this board is old news
Here are some thoughts:
*I choose to focus from now on on Roger's performances only, I'm not going to care one bit about how Rafa does and as long as Roger plays great like he's done so far and does the best he can I have no complains.
I think we should all adopt this conception, arguing with Nadal's fans or Roger's HATAs will hardly get us anywhere, let's focus on Roger, enjoy his wins and accept his defeats if and when they come.
*I wouldn't be surprised if Roger lost early in Rome (I'm not saying he necessarily will), the reality of being one of the 2 top dogs on clay is new to him, I'm not sure he can regularly beat everyone up week in week out like he does on HC just yet.
As long as he finds top-gear at the right time (RG that is, preferably deep in the tournament) I'm fine with that
*The reality is that Nadal right now is as brilliant a claycourter as anyone has been on the dirt, make it 95 Muster or 2000/1 Guga (I feel sick mentioning him with the other two, that's a guy I could watch all day on the dirt).
When there's such a superb clay player around winning RG turn to almost Mission Impossible.
I do think, however, that Roger is at least as good on the dirt right now as other former RG champs like Moya and Agassi, and hopefully down the road awaits one RG title to show for it.
Great week everyone
