Who will win the battle of Independiente and Racing? Sleepy Gaudio or Stoned Chucho
The tournament has had many excellent opening round matches on paper, then there is the Vliegen/Hernych 2nd round classic along with the Kiefer/Llodra match which they will have to turn people away cause of overcrowding.
The other 2nd round match that I know tennis will be the winner is between Acasuso and Gaudio.
I can't whatever result as long as whoever wins makes the quarter finals.
These guys know each other very well and it will be difficult for them, but they have played 7 times and it's 4-2 on clay to Gaston, though I wouldn't be surprised at all if Acasuso wins tomorrow.
Gaudio vs Acasuso
2001 Buenos Aires Clay SF Acasuso 3-6 6-1 6-3
2002 Amersfoort Clay R16 Gaudio 3-6 6-1 6-1
2004 Vina del Mar Clay R16 Gaudio 6-3 6-3
2004 Buenos Aires Clay R32 Acasuso 6-3 7-6(6)
2004 Acapulco Clay R32 Gaudio 6-7(2) 7-6(1) 6-1
2005 Vina del Mar Clay QF Gaudio 6-2 3-6 3-1 ret
2005 Madrid Indoor Hardcourt R32 Acasuso 7-6(4) 6-2
Gaudio leads 4-3

I say chucho, but with the pattern they have, it seems like Gaudio might win it

As for the actual match, Gaudio could glide past him just as easily as Acasuso could smoke him.

Gaudio in 3. I hope they will show something better than what Ra-sin Club and Independiente show nowadays.
