Coria murders a hapless Youzhny 6-3 6-1
Dreadful serving still from Guille...hit maybe the worst double-fault I have ever seen. The rest of his game was only solid at best, but Youzhny was woeful.
Guille also seemed quite sporting during the match...

I read in eurosport that coria stuttered thru
but he won 6/3 6/1
if that is stuttering
than Youzhny must have been playnig aweful

Nice to get a fairly win under his belt because Coria's back on the court playing doubles now. Sort of weird that he's scheduled for doubles on the same day he's playing singles, but I notice they've done that for other doubles players as well. It seems to me if they want top players playing doubles, they should take a look at the scheduling. But,  what do I know? |

the df's are still scary but i'm very glad that guille won anyway. 
so,good luck for the next match. i was really dying to see guille and marat in the 2nd round, too bad marat lost. it could have been fun wathing them.

Coria just fed the ball to that Youhzny backhand and almost always it went wide or long. It was just awful to watch.
