Hi everyone, I have seen a demostration game he played against Martin Verkerk in The Hague.. I hadn't heard of him before that..but now I do so I hope he will get into the top 150 too!!!

Does anyone if he'll play soon?

I think he is going to play the qualifications for the Aussie Open. He played them in the US Open last year with a lower ranking. It's just a guess, but everyting I (or Gosjke) know appears on our site as soon as possible.

Maybe he'll play in Rotterdam again (doubles?), we saw him there last year! Good luck to him if he does play the quallies at the Australian Open

oh. he really played in rotterdam last year? i totally forgot about that. just remember that he was in rosmalen. didnt he play against clement?

Yeah he lost first round to Arnaud in Rosmalen, pretty bad if I remember it correctly. And he also played doubles with Mario Ancic last year in Rotterdam, I thought he also tried to qualify for the singles, but no luck there. Don't know if he's playing this week... Good luck to Fred anyway!

@ gosjke yeah. than he lost in the first round to arnaud. but i have to say that i wasnt that mad

i like arnaud more. sorry

Haha, that's ok, Arnaud is one of my faves too and it was one of the first big ATP events for Fred and he happened to come up against Arnaud in the first round, which was just bad luck, since Arnaud was in the final of Rosmalen before and Arnaud is, well euhm.. the better player, hehe. So I didn't really expect Fred to win anyway. But who knows.. if he ever plays Arnaud in the future

i've seen him play against thomas berend in the 2nd round of a challenger in reunion island...he's got a pretty good game!
