Re: Royalty, Yuppies, Yachts, a bad Casino and no time for Jimmy's Bar Monte Carlo Thread
1 hour 18 minutes, Gaston won the match against Tommy Robredo: 6-1, 6-3!!! That has got to be a record for him (?)
Hopefully, this means he'll do even better in the semis.

Gaston did what was necessary and that's good.

That's indeed a good job. You won't stop me from thinking that, from the moment a player reaches the semis, everything's open.

Well I just saw Gastón interviewed on Sky - and he seemed fine - and said that every day he felt that he was playing better and growing in confidence - and he hoped that tomorrow would be his best day yet!
Btw -sorry Elea - but he has just pulled out of Barcelona - hope can have fun anyway.

Fantastic win for Gaston! It's great that he's into the SF of my fave clay TMS! I shall cheer him on heartily even tho I will barely be around [freakin tax return to prepare... yuk]. I have not seen either Gaston nor Rafa's matches... so what are Gaston's chances of an upset in the SF??? How I w love for Gasti to be in this final!!!!
VAMOS, GASTON!! Do your worst!! Wreak revenge!

It depends on whether Gaston believes he can win or not, if he doesn't, then it's over quickly.
It's about time he started beating people above him.

Well done Gas!
It's nice the better play to face Nadal in the next round, the chance is not that high but I believe he can make it closer!
