Vinci just won a challenger and he is ready to play against Brazil. The only Swedish player that truly feels comfortable on the clay.

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Brazil's captain Fernando Meligeni nominated five players and will exclude one of them before the draw is made:

Marcos Daniel
Flávio Saretta
Ricardo Mello
André Sá
Gustavo Kuerten

I doubt Sa and Guga will play. Meligeni should call up Thiago Alves, he won a challenger in Ecuador a few weeks ago.

Sá will play doubles for sure, he always does. As for Guga, it depends on his form. I'm quite sceptical about his chances, though there is a possibility that he plays doubles with Sá (no chance in singles IMO).

Alves currently has the best form between Brazilians yeah, but he's unexperienced (he has never been part of any DC tie) and clay is not his best surface. I think Meligeni has taken the right decision in not calling him up for now.

Yes, Sa will play. I hope Guga is in good conditions to play with Andre. He would be useful (Daniel ), and I think this doubles point is easier than winning 3 singles rubbers.
