For the early rounds it is unlikely that Gaston will be on TV assuming he makes the last 16.

Re: Enjoy Miami Vice and not be Miami Mice Cheering Thread
A friend, Víctor, who lives in Miami, is going to all the matches and keeps us updated in the Yahoo group. He said that he watched Gastón training yesterday morning with Blake. Gastón was in a really bad mood (it seems to be a constant these days…), completely different to the Gaudio he saw there last year . But thanks to Blake´s wonderful temperament he slowly started loosening up and enjoying himself and played at a great level. He said you couldn´t tell who was the hardcourt specialist of the two, and that Gastón´s backhand was working superbly!
What is worrying is that he had about 80% foot faults on his serve!!!
I have no idea how he can get on in this tournament, because nobody knows what exactly is the matter with him. I think if he wins a few matches playing well he will regain his confidence, if that´s what is causing his present lack of form, but when will that be?
Anyway, here´s wishing him all the best!
VAMOS GASTON!!! SHOW´EM ALL!!!

Re: Enjoy Miami Vice and not be Miami Mice Cheering Thread
I was in Miami and saw his match- just got home which is why I didn't post more quickly.
He lost but Vligen played very well. What I liked was that Gaston never ever gave up, and didn't seem to get discouraged out there. He did yell a bit at the end in frustation, but was very focused.
And the fans were really behind him - the Argentine fans were really a lot of fun.
I think Gaston is going to do fine during the clay court season - his game seems on but again Vligen's game just is made for hardcourts and he's this really stringbean (American for very tall, thin, and lanky) that could reach anything at net.

Chela has been playing not so badly this year esp that match vs. Hewitt at AO -- just too bad he didn't make it past Kiwi. Good Argie team for DC06 QF!

Well Gaston won't be there and that's not a bad thing and as for him losing here. Well maybe he get away from tennis for a short time and he has his main season to prepare for.
