Chiudinelli lost in 3 sets against Ito although he won more single points.
It was not easy to play 2 matches on one day.

Good tournament, though.
A lot of points to re enter Top 140.

Only has himself to blame for that final set, I'm afraid. Strewing UEs left and right. He was down 1-5 because of that, then staged a near-comeback but it wasn't to be.

Good week nevertheless.

Considering the circumstances, I don't take it on him. Best results in months, and this is clay. So, it'll be nice if he keeps like this the rest of the season. Maybe top100 at the end of it.

Marco is terrible on grass. And this is a terrible loss.

His best surface is hard court and indoors.

But on Wimbledon grass he will have more chance then in Halle.

Yes, I was there. But there's really nothing I can take from this match. Marco never had a chance to play his own game, because Brown was powering through. Most points didn't last more than four shots. Dustin was truly superb and Marco was just outclassed. He looked fit enough though. Hopefully the hard court swing will be to his advantage.
