Question Highly Anticipated Matchups

Like the other threads

But this time, is there anyone that he hasn't faced yet that you would like to see him play?

I can't wait till him and Andy face off, though I'd rather see it on clay.

I'd also like to see him play Pete - he played Pete in an exhibition at the start of 2001 before the Aussie Open and beat him there, but I would like to see it in an official ATP setting

I also can't wait for him and hewitt to play, I want to see how he stacks up to the world number one

On clay, I think he would win.

Hardcourt I'd pick Hewitt.

So throw them on rebound ace or something, and I'd be facinated

He did beat Hewitt on clay already, RG 2001 quarters, isnt it?
So he could very well do it again.

JC will slaughter anyone's asses on clay period! ("he just has some trouble w/ his compadres" i.e. Corretja)

However he is getting better every time...

He did beat Hewitt to with the davis cup in 2000, that was on CLAY!

Juanqui/Andy matchup would be a great one to look forward to...JC would whip Dumbdick's arse anyday...

I'd also like to see an Albert Costa/JC Ferrero rematch...

PLEASE WIN THE OPEN!!

LMAO, when I saw this thread I was thinking, "Roddick on clay would be great." Obviously, everyone else thinks so, too!

Yes, Juan Carlos slaughtered lil Potato at Roland Garros last year, in comfortable straight sets.

And just for selfish reasons, I'd like to see him play Jarkko Nieminen. He's the only other player I follow that Juan Carlos hasn't faced (selfish reason), and Jarkko is suited very well to the clay, with his heavy serve and big lefty backhand--he has nice groundstrokes as well (tactical reason).

we need to see some more Agassi/Ferrero match-ups. at the French Open was fun to see Juan Carlos kick his ass in 4 brilliant sets. on hard it could be a more even match...

Yeah, I can't wait to see another Hewitt or Agassi match. The way he irritated the hell out of Andre was very entertaining hehehe.

I would also like to see him play Tim Henman, just cause they're my two favorite players. Besides their game is so different it would be interesting to see how they match up. Also, Ferrero could learn a few tricks at the net from him. The last time they played was in 1999 on carpet and Henman won in 3 sets. But that was ages ago, so it's basically irrelevant.

I would also like to see him play Santoro. In truth, I like to see anyone play Santoro. They played twice in 2000 and Ferrero won both of those matches, but that was before my time, so I desperately want a rematch. I want to see how Ferrero will handle Santoro's sly shots.

hitman, *spank* *spank*

also Tommy Haas vs. Juan Carlos

just cos they're my 2 favorites and they would have some sweet backcourt rallies! i think Juan Carlos leads their H2H 2-0, but i would like to see them play when they were both at their best!

hitman *spank*

In truth, I'd like another Guga Ferrero rematch at Roland Garros - preferabley in the finals where Ferrero plays the match of his life

Are you seriously asking? Thomas is the indoor monster, just ask Eggy

Talking Juanqui v Andy

I would also like to see Juanqui play Andy as he has been in line to a couple of times now but never quite got there, preferably on clay as I think he would beat Andy easily

I think that Juan is best on the clay but remember Rome this year? Ivan has beaten him 7:5 6:2. And Ivan leads 2:0 over Juan so I would like to watch their match especially if it will take place in Umag (JCF was suppose to come to Umag last year).
