I thought I read that IW was medium paced, definately slower than US Open courts.
The heat and humidity slow down Miami which is perfect because if Roger has to he can wear Nadal's ass down again like he did last year but I say Federer 4 sets in the final.

touhg draw, but Roger may prefer to just keep playing his best...no time for letdown...he'll have a few days rest no and then just a run to the final and double!!! I'm hopeful after seeing his level of play on Sunday last
Good Luck Roger!!!!!!

I don't think it is that tough. He just has Haas and then maybe James in qrts but Roger will take care of him. Roger is really in the final in IMO and Nadal will not have a shot here. Roger is more adjusted to his game and can wear him down over 5 sets if needed. No worries here. I would rather have MC than Miami though.

Look, whether Rogi wins or loses [early or in the final, no diff], the hatas will bash no matter what. Fed fans can't win and neither can Rogi so don't even attempt to reason w them since they've long since lost their marbles.

Rogi is clearly more comfortable in IW than in Miami -- he had a tough 5-setter last year beating Rafa... barely and previously lost the F to AA -- before that, he never did anything of note. Plus the crowds aren't so friendly in Miami.

Rogi won IW, which was far more crucial for several reasons.

Rogi, just do your best, whatever happens in Miami.

Me too, and I would rather Rome to Hamburg as well. Both MC and Rome are far better predictors of success at RG than Hamburg. If Roger goes F - W - W - SF over these next four AMS tourneys, I'll be very happy going into RG.

Who cares what cretins say. The fact is that he's played everybody in the top 50 (except for Serra and Tursunov) for the last couple of years and beat them all .

This 2.5 year run against the top 10, top 20, top 50, is the greatest run in modern tennis history. All comers have been beaten repeated times and it has been amazing.

I have been saying this all along- I want Roger to go to Europe and prepare for the clay as early as possible, and be well enough rested to have a really good run at Monte Carlo where last year after doing the IW-Miami double he was jaded by the time he reached the clay.

I don't think, however, that he would have such similair thoughts Rogiman. After playing so well in IW he is on a roll so he would want to maintain his momentum especially against the best players.

Dude, you just love getting way ahead of yourself don't you

Final is a long ways away and who says Roger and Rafa will play each other in the final? There are no absolute guarantees in tennis today.

Hopefully Roger's able to maintain his current form, otherwise he could be upset in an early round match.
