Sorry for the lameness, can't think of anything creative, I will change the name to something funnier when anything comes to mind. Suggestions are welcome.

Anyway, I thought I would take the initiative to make this thread since the draw is out.

The "Go Roger, tank Miami" thread

Seriously, I think it'd be a good idea for him to lose early here, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's got similar thought about it.

You're nuts if you think Roger will purpously tank in a TMS event where he is defending champion.

What a draw! Haas, Andreev. Blake, Nieminen...again! Pandy, Paradorn, Marat and Lleyt all in one section! In the bottom half, Murray vs. Wawrinka? That's crap! Davyd, Ancic, Baggy and Gasquet in another section -- more crap draw! Not liking it that much but whatEver...

From West Coast Whale to East Coast Dolphin...

Just what I was thinking altho I w love it if Fena could do the job... but he's had shoulder probs lately and hasn't done well this year so far.

Well, I will be at TMS TO for a few days anyway -- I enjoyed that R1 match betw. Rafa and Charly in Mtl last yr -- it was the best of the tourney. Charly could have won it but you know, he can be a little lazy at times... he let his little bro win the match and the title. No, really, great match and the crowd was more for Charly than for Rafa.

By the time Rafa plays Marat or Nalby, it will be on clay...

Federer got one hell of a hard draw but that's par for the course.

I don't get why Nadal always gets a much better draw than all the other top guys while Roger always gets about the toughest...

This draw is ok for Roger methinks...I can accept whatever draw for Roger now

Hey, if Roger goes deep or defends this tournament at least the Fed haters can't bitch and complain that he had a piss easy draw. No draw is easy in these MS events. And if Roger keeps up the form he had in the latter stages of IW I have more confidence in him being in the finals than Rafa. I mean will Miami really play that much slower than IW? I thought I read that IW was medium paced, definately slower than US Open courts.

True, but on the other hand, they won't miss the occasion to bash Fed if he looses in early rounds... Their point will be that with a 'decent' draw, Roger can't win
