yeah it's in spanish, it's quite a cute site..i like the layout! It's very personal- most of it is written by Guille himself...the only problem was that it was hardly(and by hardly i mean NEVER

) updated..there's one news item on there about Guille's doctors visit and thats it!!
basically it's news(just the one ) a profile for Guille, his tennis history- but only about his achievements as a junior player, nothing about him since he turned pro, it mentions him being in the Orange Bowl but being defeated in the 3rd round...no mention of him being the OB champion!!
There's some mention of his fitness regieme(how many hours a day he plays tennis for(one in the morning two in the afternoon) how many hours he spends at the gym (1)etc...and details about Guilles team, his coach, his trainer, doctor etc..
theres a bit where he talks about his titles and he mentions Vina Del Mar where he won his first ATP title in 2001 as a pro and he also mentions his wins in Lima, San Pablo, Montevideo and Buenos Aires in 2000, but Guille says "one of the most important victories for me was the Roland Garros junior title in 1999 " or something like that..as well as his victory in Buenos Aires in 2000 (at this point im trying to figure out exactly HOW long it's been since this site has been updated....unless Guille STILL maintains that his most important victory to date is his GR Junior title lol!Im guessing that some parts of it have been neglected since 2001 coz there is not much talk of his career as a part of the ATP at all!
Guille list some of his goals as a pro to include: To be among the top 25 in the world, to win Roland Garros, to ne number one someday, and to win an olympic medal..oh yeah and play partake in davis cup
there's also a Guille advice column where says to all the young tennis players to enjoy playing the game, have fun on the courts etc.. and not to succumb to the pressures of being a tennis player once you achieve that and add the effort,hard-work and sacrifice requires success will follow
He also says(and this I think is really sweet) that if he were to return to his childhood he would wish for himself exactly what he has now, because he's always wanted to be a tennis player and play lawn tennis (lol Star's avatar provides evidence of this
And how he wants to help his counrty as in return for their assistance without which he wouldnt have gotten to where he is today! and he wants to help those who were like him(less fortunate) in his town Rufino and many more in his country.
he says that when he retires he wants to return to Venado Tuerto to be near his family and friends as he currently does not get to see them as much as he would like to...he also says that he will carry on to do something linked to tennis for sure!
he then goes on to talk about his obsession with River Plate and how he stalks them using the internet! lol!
and how when he was in Chile Javiar Saviola(ex RP player) gave him his T-shirt, which Guille describes to be flattery that is "priceless" (is it just me who thinks is or does Guille have a thing with getting souvenirs off people - first it was Moya's T-shirts, then it was Agassi's racquet and now Javier's T-shirt!.....I wonder if he would like one of mine too)
and then he makes a random comment about not liking planes and turbulence..(who doesnt)
He wishes he could spend every minute with his family, his "novia" and his amigos and his love for them plays a very important part in his life and in the week-ends when he doesnt have matches he travels to Rosario to see his Carla or stays in Venado Tuerto to be with family and buddies and when he goes on a trip he communicates with them often(my spanish is atrocious)
and then he talks about his family(his papa Oscar, his mama Graciela, and his brothers Roman(17) and Federico (9) ) and says that they are very united!
Theres also a selection of messages that people have sent Guille and he has posted them on his site as if to say thank you to those that sent them

mostly well wishes and praise, and theres also a place where you can post your own message to Guille who promises he will read them when he has time, he says it really delights him to recieve messages

and theres a really cute picture of him on his computer!
phew thats about it...gosh thats the first time ive ever translated (or attempted to at least) anything for anyone...im sorry i wish i could have done a better job but my spanish sucks so bad!!
(...and translating really does a number on your english too...pls excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes) and please correct me if ive made any other mistakes i never studied spanish formally i just kinda picked it up from here and there !
