Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
Dunno fee, I don't know anyone who was going this early in the week lol.
We don't know yet Bloss, it's only 1:40pm out here, the draw was to be made at 1.... it often takes a while for it to mosey its way online

Anyone care to bet on who'll be Andy's first opponent?

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
If they are doing a draw ceremony (I think they are), it could take an hour to finish the draw and another hour to put it online.

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
So sad we are here discussing whether Andy can win his 1R and 2R matches. Good times were when he used to be in pretty much every semi final and finals. Do we need a miracle here?

No, we don't know. The draw ceremony began at 1 pm, so it will be up any time after that.

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
Most likely Acasuso (who had been injured last week).... then Verdasco (or perhaps more likely KARLOVIC ) in the third round, Tommy R. in the 4th round.... Agassi/Blake/Haas in the QF (they are all in the same QF HOLY CRAPOLY)
....... well it could have been worse.....
not that it'll matter, but once AGAIN Andy avoided being in Roger's half (then again so did Hewitt.... talk about a bottom-heavy draw)

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
Will Andy make it past Jose? Then Ivo? Then Robredo/Igor/Dmitri? Then Tommy/James/Andre? I think it stops here...

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
He'll beat Acasuso... Ivo could always lose to Zib or Verdasco, you never know with him considering the # of TBs he plays. If he were to make it to Robredo, he'd beat Robredo obviously.... let's not look past there
pains me to think this way but if he makes the QF I'll be happy

Re: The "Fire It Up, Andy!" Indian Wells Thread
Likely it won't be Tommy Robredo, now that I've looked at it close-up... that section is packed... Melzer, Soderling, Tursunov, Andreev.... Andy would hate to face any one of these... Then suddenly... suppose Andy faces a Q and it's Bonito man again!?
*sigh*
