Yeah Fee, you're the exception (glad you liked that nat)

Naldo, if James plays like he did in Vegas, he'll beat those guys...whether he will do that or not is the question.

would love for James to come through but I get this feeling that Haas will come out of that section...

Andre has virtually no match practice so Haas will beat him comfortably.

Andy's eating his words. He pitied Blake and thought his low power/low energy level were enough to beat Karlovic and Acasuso.
He never overpowered anyone, not even Henman or Rochus. Too bad he was told to do nothing but hit hard.
He even blew a sigh of relief when he gave the RCA title to Ginepri.
Lazy serving, poor fitness and bad line calls gave him chances to insult himself and to lose in dramatic fashion (french open, madrid, indiana).

Hmmm...this is quite the conundrum, what would heya do if Andy actually starts winning?

Whatever, just don't let the door hit your ass on the way out and get hurt.

Verdasco/Karlovic 3rd = death.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but James never follows up a title win/good tournament with another good run. I really hope he makes at least the 4r, then loses to Haas .

Well he did ok at the USO the week after winning New Haven

James crossed a huge mental hurdle beating Lleyton, I think. He's clearly not the same player he was a year ago. Only time will tell if he can keep it up and he has a tough draw, but based on the way he played last week, he could beat almost anyone on a given day.

I think a match between he and Tommy (assuming Tommy's shoulder wasn't too serious and he's ok), playing the way they have been, would be freaking awesome and I'd pop a big bowl of popcorn while watching it

so the tourney made a huge mistake and used last week's rankings - since then, the draw has changed a couple times. it could affect Andy and it makes his draw a bit tougher. Robredo, Blake, and Gonzo all changed places, so Andy is now seeded to face Gonzo in the 4th round, not Robredo.

What is that, the third or 4th version of the draw?

3rd, I think. Someone really really fucked up bigtime. The only change in this version may have been the Robredo/Gonzo swap, not sure.

Wow that will be an interesting encounter if he meets Acasuso again.
