Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
I don't know if this interview with Fabrice has already been posted elsewhere

With zero arrogance. The hair on my arm is almost standing up right now. What I’m saying, in essence, it’s almost unbelievable that this type of person exists.
He’s such a pure, class act. In other words, he’s humble. Yet he does not need to be.

Fabrice made the Mercedes Benz Play of the Week this week.
Fabrice Santoro hustles to return an amazing between-the-legs shot against Vince Spadea.

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
Fabrice talking about the Davis Cup team (french):
edit: please see post #23
Here's a very rough and probably not very accurate translation of what he says:
He says the French team looks the best on paper. The team now is stronger than ever. There are 4 players with different games, personalities. He thinks Jo is the best of them and he would have been ranked among the top if he weren't injured. He is closest with Richard because he has known him since Richard was very young and watched him grow up. He is open to be the French Davis Cup captain, he would definitely consider it, maybe 2012.

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
I hadn't seen you had already posted it here, sorry.
Your summary is perfect, but your link opens a video of Jo for me, is it a Freudian slip?
http://video.lequipe.fr/video/iLyROoafJhdO.html
He even says Jo would be top 3 or top 4 right now, so up there with Nole and Muzza.
And he says 2010, 2011, 2012 for the Davis Cup, he doesn't rule it out for next year already.

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
I don't know if it's worth translating it since nobody seems to check Fabrice's forum anymore...
In the first video he answers a few questions asked by the TV viewers:
- is it true that his father was goalkeeper? Yes, he played in the team of Toulon around 1965-70.
- which partner has he enjoyed the most playing with? He first jokes because the question is a bit ambiguous in French. And then he answers Mika Llodra because they were so successful together. He says that without the constraints of the singles circuit, they could have become the best team in the world in his opinion.
- why does he play with both hands? When he was 6 years old, he was at the tennis club where his father was working, decided to play tennis too and picked the biggest and heaviest racquet he could find, in a very childish way. Since the racquet was way too heavy for him, he started playing holding it with both hands.
- 6 singles titles, 24 doubles titles, would he have preferred it the other way around? Sure, but one can't always choose.
- does he often go back to Tahiti where he's born? No, because he wants to spend at least 3 weeks-1 month there, have time to go back to the place where he was born, etc. so he will do it after his tennis career, which means pretty soon now.

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
And in the 2nd one he answers questions about the tour (who is the most...?):
- who is the hairiest player? Gonzalez
- the biggest fan of thongs? (the level of the show is not very high ) He first answers "aren't we all somehow?" because he understands they ask him who is keen on thongs on women. Then he understands that they wanted to know if some players wear thongs: not that he knows of, no. The host: "Jo-Wi Tsonga maybe?" "Ahem, no."
- the biggest womanizer? Gasquet
- the most cultivated? Blake
- the most appearance-conscious? Federer
- the most mythomaniac? Lopez
- the one who drinks the most alcohol? He answers that everybody likes having a little drink to celebrate a great win
- the sorest loser? Robredo
- the most doped? He says they just need to check the news for that one
- the best football player? He hesitates a lot, the host says Baggy is really good, so he answers Baggy

An other Tauziat style book and we can expect DC revelations or his versions.

Thanks, good news - I quite enjoyed Tauziat's book! More fun than Noah dispensing his infinite wisdom.

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
Santoro would like to be the next trainer or DC captain so a Tauziat book is a risk even if he will say nothing about the new musketeers and Tauziat was already hate before his book indeed . I'm waiting the DC chapter
I just go on his forum and he will do the Drucker show in may, it's a 2 hours emission on sunday and it will deal with french tennis sure but in Drucker boring style. And fun he already ask for a WC in Bercy lol

Re: ~~0~~Audios & Videos~~0~~
My God, It does open Jo's video! My bad... I watched Jo's and Fabrice's video around the same time, must have copy/pasted the wrong link, I'd say definitely a freudian slip.
