It's an interview by the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) about Jarkko's preparation for the next season. Atm Jarkko is doing basically nothing, just recharging the batteries, later he'll start to build up his for for 2007.
The main news is that Jarkko will continue without a coach. According to Jarkko, more important than having a coach or not is that his game keeps developing. Because it has been doing that, he sees no reason to change anything for now.
Jarkko has a point here, of course. If he keeps improving and climbing up the rankings, or even keeps his positions up there in the top 20, it's understandable he wants to maintain everything as it is. It would be a risk anyway to take a coach, which might not suit him. As we know Jarkko had a pretty bad experience with Fredrik Rosengren.
Still I keep on thinking that a right type of coach could help Jarkko with some tactical awareness and better shot selection. Even with the success of 2006, I feel he hasn't fulfilled his maximum potential. And I'm not sure if he can do it by himself.
